        It won’t be wrong that Sara Ali Khan, who made her big Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath, has already become B-town’s favorite. Not only with her acting skills, but the diva has also won many hearts with her sense of style. But did you know Sara, who has become one of the most popular star kids today, was once a book worm?

        Recently, at the Leadership Lecture Series of Global Indian International School, Sara opened up about her nerdy days and said, “Acting has always been a dream, but then I got distracted. Firstly, I was really fat and secondly, I was very nerdy, and the combination meant that I shouldn’t be acting,” reports Times of India.

       She added, “So I used to keep studying and there was a time when my mother used to confiscate my books because she would say it’s not normal to study so much.”

      The actress also revealed that when she was younger, she wanted to make her career in medicine. “When I finished the tenth grade, I was almost convinced that I wanted to do medicine. But the thing is that I have a mild tremor problem and I realized that I can’t do surgery. So, I decided to do law and I studied History and Political Science. But then in my last year, I did an acting course,” said Sara.

       On the work front, Sara has already entered the Rs 200 crore club with second release Simmba. The movie was directed by Rohit Shetty and starred Ranveer Singh in the lead role. For both her films the young debutant received a lot of praise. The diva is yet to announce her next project.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga screening: Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and others watch the film.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga box office prediction: Anil and Sonam Kapoor film to earn Rs 2–3 crore on Day 1.

        Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga prediction: Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, starring Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, and Rajkummar Rao among others, is expected to open with a decent collection.

          Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga: The Sonam Kapoor starrer will hit screens on February 1.

Shelly Chopra Dhar directorial Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga releases this Friday. The film has the father-daughter duo of Anil and Sonam Kapoor coming together on screen for the first time. 

Also, the film brings back Kapoor with Juhi Chawla with whom he has done movies like Loafer, Benam Badshah, Salaam-e-Ishq and others. Being presented by Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films, it is expected to open with a decent collection.

        Film trade analyst Girish Johar said, “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is a niche, high-end romantic drama with a twist. Now it remains to be seen if the audience will accept this twist or not. With a limited release, it will probably earn around Rs 2.5–3 crore on the day of its release.”

       Adding to it, he said, “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is toplined by Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and these are the actors who audience wants to see. And, it is coming from Vidhu Vinod Chopra, so I expect it to have quality content. It is looking quite decent but again the performance on the first weekend will be based entirely on word of mouth.”

      Though Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is the solo release of the week, it might face competition from last week’s release Manikarnika and Vicky Kaushal’s Uri which has been going strong at the ticket counters.

     “The Anil Kapoor starter will be the first choice of the audience. Uri is also going strong and people are going into repeat mode with it, so it all depends on how Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga start off in the theaters. It has the potential to lead over the weekend but if it doesn’t match up to the standards then definitely other films will take over,” suggested Johar.

        Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga also stars Regina Cassandra and Brijendra Kala in pivotal roles.

All thanks to her girl-next-door image and devil-may-care attitude. In a recent interview with Jitesh Pillai for Famously Filmfare, the promo for which was released recently, Sara was seen giving back to the seasoned journalist, who threw some tricky questions at her. 

     On being asked about her step-mother, Kareena Kapoor Khan, she replied that it was indeed her ‘karma’ that Poo (Kareena’s character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham) became her step-mother. 

“People tell me that you have willed this to happen. You have been such a die-hard Kareena fan that you have willed her into your life. And this is what you get”, she said finishing off with a peal of genuine laughter.

     Sara has a knack for taking questions head-on and gives them her own hilarious twist. Surely, she has some more interesting things to talk about on the show. We will get to see some more of the actress’ fun side once the episode comes out.

Saif Ali Khan to Share Screen Space with Sara Ali Khan in Love Aaj Kal Sequel? Here's His Response.

     Of late, reports claimed that Saif Ali Khan will share screen space with his daughter Sara Ali Khan in Imtiaz Ali’s directorial Love Aaj Kal sequel.

      Of late, reports claimed that Saif Ali Khan will share screen space with his daughter Sara Ali Khan in Imtiaz Ali’s directorial Love Aaj Kal sequel. However, quashing all the rumors the actor has denied the news.

      When asked about the same he told Zee News, “It is not true at all”.

     Also, it is said, that Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan will play the leads in the sequel, but there has been no official confirmation on it yet. If this turns out to be true, Kartik and Sara will be paired opposite each other for the first time in a film.

     Kartik and Sara have been hitting headlines ever since the latter expressed her desire to date the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor during her TV debut on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. Later at an event, Sara’s Simmba co-star Ranveer Singh played cupid and introduced her to Kartik. The Gully Boy star even made the two hold hands and said, “Glad, you guys have met.”

    On the work front, Kartik will next be seen in Luka Chuppi opposite Kriti Sanon. The trailer of the film was dropped last week. In the trailer, Kartik and Kriti can be seen living through the complicated commitments of a live-in relationship in this frivolity-filled journey, although barely. They have pretensions to keep up, lies to tell and save face when they come up with contrasting testimonies in front of strangers. And of course, there is ‘the family’. January box office report: Simmba and Uri rule the roost.

       Rohit Shetty’s mass entertainer Simmba and military drama Uri: The Surgical Strike, starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam, kept the cash registers ringing in January.

       Rohit Shetty’s mass entertainer Simmba and military drama Uri: The Surgical Strike, starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam, kept the cash registers ringing in January.

       Simmba, a December 2018 release, raked in the moolah in the first month of 2019 too. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film opened with a Rs 20.72 crore collection, and by the end of its four-week successful run at the theaters, it minted Rs 239.59 crore. The Ranveer Singh starrer became filmmaker Shetty’s eighth consecutive film to enter the 100 crore club and also his most successful film ever.

       One of the key reasons for its success was the lack of strong competition at the box office. However, the film slowed down in its fifth weekend as Uri wave took over and its number of screens declined.

Uri, based on the Indian military’s surgical strike on terror launch pads in Pakistan, had a slow start at the box office but it picked up steam. Opening with Rs 8.20 crore, the Aditya Dhar directorial became the first blockbuster of 2019 with a collection of Rs 160.23 crore so far.

       Made on a budget of Rs 28 crore, the film crossed the benchmark of Rs 50 crore within five days and went on to reach the mark of Rs 100 crore in the next five days. It continues to maintain its grip on the audience.

      Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared, “#UriTheSurgicalStrike surpasses all expectations, estimations, and calculations… Wreaks havoc at the BO… Weekend 2 is higher than Weekend 1 …” He also mentioned that the film witnessed only a decline of 12.22% in comparison to Sanju’s 54.24%, Padmaavat’s 58.26% and Simmba’s 59.145. “#Uri has trended better in *Week 2* than #Sanju, #Padmaavat and #Simmba, the Top 3 grossers of 2018,” he tweeted.……..Read More…

Saif and Sara Ali Khan to star in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2?

       After Sonam and Anil Kapoor, it seems that Sara and Saif Ali Khan too will come together on screen. It is reported that the father-daughter duo will star in Imtiaz Ali's next film Love Aaj Kal 2.

      Saif Ali Khan and daughter Sara had a great time at Koffee With Karan. The father-daughter duo shared a side of themselves never seen by the audience before. After coming together for the first time on the show, it is reported that Saif and Sara are all set to share the screen space.

      According to reports in a daily, it is said that the duo will come together in Imitiaz Ali's next Love Aaj Kal 2. The sources, quoted by the daily, said, Saif Ali Khan has been roped in to play an important role in the rom-com, which will be a sequel to his own hit film with Imtiaz Love Aaj Kal. This will be the first time that Saif will be sharing screen space with his daughter Sara. It’s not just a cameo but a full-fledged role. He will play the role of Sara’s father on screen as well.`

      Buzz of Kartik Aaryan being cast opposite Sara in the film has also been doing rounds. After the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Kartik has become a hot favorite with filmmakers.

     In the previous film which released in the year 2009, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone played the lead roles. The film revolved around their love story. Rishi Kapoor played an important role in Saif and Deepika's love story in the film.

      According to the source, it is said that Saif will play the same role for Sara and Kartik's love story in the film. It was the obvious call he made, given that it is Love Aaj Kal 2 and the core idea of the plot remains the same. Like Rishi Kapoor in the original, Saif, too, will have a prominent part in Sara and Kartik’s relationship here, the source added.

     Yami Gautam says Uri: The Surgical Strike was able to engage the audiences through emotions as she believes heavy dialogues and sloganeering are not needed to generate the feeling of patriotism.

     The film, written and directed by Aditya Dhar, has been declared the first blockbuster of 2019. It recently crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.

     Yami, who plays an intelligence officer in the film, says the movie’s backbone was the Indian Army but it was driven by strong sentiments.

     “The subject was something which was real and was driven by emotions. It’s definitely a mission-based film but it is backed by strong emotions. The core of it was patriotism and the Army. And it was really something that was there in the script,” she said.

      Asked about the film’s subtle take on nationalism, Yami says it was all in the sublayer and credited Dhar for the execution.

As Amrita, Sara Contest Property Worth Crores in Dehradun, 'Will' Brings New Twist in The Plot.

      Amrita and Sara had reportedly landed at Dehradun hours after Amrita’s maternal uncle Madhusudan Bimbet died of prostate cancer in a medical college on Saturday.

    Two days after actor Amrita Singh and her daughter actor Sara Ali Khan approached the police, claiming right over property worth crores in Dehradun, a family friend of Amrita’s maternal uncle said a ‘will’ made last month shall decide the ownership.

   Amrita and Sara had reportedly landed at Dehradun hours after Amrita’s maternal uncle Madhusudan Bimbet died of prostate cancer in a medical college on Saturday. After performing last rites, the duo approached the local police and claimed ownership over the property.

  “Last month, Bimbet made a will after his condition worsened. He wanted to have a foundation named after him and donate the property to the orphanage,” Dhirendra Shimla, a close friend of Madhusudan told News18. “The ‘will’ would clear the air,” he asserted.

   The disputed property worth crores are sprawled over one lakh seventy thousand square feet area in the heart of the capital.

    Shimla said that he had repeatedly called family members to visit once but they never turned up. “After my friend died, suddenly Sara and Amrita appeared,” he said.

    Bimbette was single and he was looked after by a caretaker. The caretaker also has approached the police staking claim.

    Amrita’s advocate Manoj Saili said outsiders have nothing to do since it is a ‘family dispute’. “The dispute began when Bimbet intended to sell the property. After learning this my clients approached court and the status quo was maintained”.

    Scalia said the court shall decide the fate of the property. He also told Amrita’s aunt Tahira who stays in Goa is yet to come over to Dehradun. Meanwhile, Sara and her mother Amrita left Dehradun.

Sushant Singh Rajput becomes the first Bollywood actor to buy land on the Moon.

       Sushant Singh Rajput is reaching for the Moon, literally. It could be a unique way to promote his film Chanda Mama Door Ke or simply a dream come true for his inner nerd, Rajput has bought what he claims to be a piece of lunar land on the far side of the Moon, in a region called the Mare Muscoviense, or the "Sea of Muscovy".

      The actor is already the owner of an advance telescope called the Meade 14" LX600, which can help him keep an eye on this prime piece of real estate from his home on Earth. Rajput's land is on the blind side from the Earth.

      "I would like to believe that the different ways we answer questions 'are' the answers of those questions. So the variations in the way we punctuate the narratives; the nuance, would create the different versions of reality in the future. My mother used to tell me that my life will be the story that I will tell myself. I am just punctuating a nuance right now and already am, over the Moon!" Rajput said in a statement.

      The actor has bought the property from the International Lunar Lands Registry, making him the first Bollywood actor to do so though Shah Rukh Khan has already been gifted a piece on the Moon by a fan.

      Rajput got the property registered on June 25 but it may not amount to legal ownership as an international treaty states that "outer space, including the Moon and other celestial bodies", are the common heritage of mankind and cannot be owned by any nation. “Read More….”

     Ranveer Singh is extremely happy by the response he got from his latest outing 'Simmba'. The actor revealed that his father's friend who owns a theatre called to tell them that he received a standing ovation from the audiences at cinemas. This feeling gave immense joy to him and this is what he craved for. The actor said that he is where he dreamt of being and 'Simmba' was his first movie of this scale and mounting.

Katrina Kaif on Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's wedding: It's a big commitment.

      Katrina Kaif said that she was happy to be a part of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's wedding celebrations.

      Katrina Kaif's presence at Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's reception raised quite a few eyebrows. For those not in the know, Deepika's ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor had apparently cheated on her with Katrina. Needless to say, the two ladies shared ice-cold vibes. However, that is clearly a thing of the past.

      Recently, Deepika told a leading daily that she had "made (her) peace" with Katrina, and respected the way she conducted herself personally and professionally. She also said that she was fond of the Zero actress.

     Meanwhile, Katrina was all praise for Ranveer and Deepika as well. In an interview with an entertainment website, she said, "I think there was a lot of warmth that night and I felt it in my heart to go and we all had a very good time. There was a lot of love and warmth."

    Katrina, who was one of the first ones to wish Ranveer and Deepika after they shared the first pictures from their wedding, added, "I'm really happy to see the step that they've taken on this journey.
