2018 was a lucky year for Ranveer Singh as he impressed us with his superb acting skills with his blockbuster films like 'Simmba' or 'Padmaavat'. Apart from this, actor tied the knot with his ladylove Deepika Padukone in November. In a recent interview, Ranveer opened up about his experience and his journey.
After the success of 'Simmba', Ranveer Singh earned him the title of being the Masala entertainer. When he was asked about the same in a recent interview, the actor reportedly said that his aspiration was always to be a hero and not an actor. He grew up watching heroes like Amitabh and more. They made him want to join the movies and wanting to be like the stars of that era. Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ajay (Devgn), the Khans (Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman), Sanjay Dutt and Hrithik Roshan, are the ones who have individually and collectively inspired me to be a Hindi film hero. Plans and ideas formed in his head as a child.
Ranveer Singh is extremely happy by the response he got from his latest outing 'Simmba'. The actor revealed that his father's friend who owns a theatre called to tell them that he received a standing ovation from the audiences at cinemas. This feeling gave immense joy to him and this is what he craved for. The actor said that he is where he dreamt of being and 'Simmba' was his first movie of this scale and mounting.
Meanwhile, Ranveer will be seen next in Karan Johar's 'Takht' along with Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Bhumi Pednekar. “Read more…….”
